Narrows Parks & Recreation presents the 2019 Narrows Town Park Park Opening on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Join us for a family friendly opening day at the park! Events include a touch a truck, games, bouncy houses, food available for purchase, Midnight Madness Basketball Tournament, Glow in the Dark Volleyball Tournament and more!
The Basketball Tournament will begin at 6:00 pm and is double elimination. Each team can have up to five players on the team with three players on the floor at at a time. The tournament will be separated into grade level groups.
The Volleyball Tournament will begin at 6:30 pm and is double elimination. Each team can have up to five players on the team with four players on the floor at a time. The tournament will be separated into grade level groups.
Arrival Schedule for Both Tournaments:
• 6:00 pm: 3rd-5th Grades
• 7:30 pm: 6th-8th Grades
• 9:00 pm: 9th Grade & Up
The cost to register for both tournaments is $10.00 per person. To register in advance, call 540-726-2961. If you do not pre-register, you must arrive early enough to register before the tournament starts.
Admission is free however some events do require a fee to participate.
