Description:
The Christiansburg Library presents an Author Talk with Caren Gallimore on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Local author Caren Gallimore will join us to discuss her new Wild West fiction romance book "Wanted".
Book Synopsis:
Caitlyn Daniels didn’t plan to fall in love, least of all with an outlaw. Life was too exciting to waste it on domesticities. However, when Dakota Cabe rode into town, she lost her heart to him. His reputation, which left most women in need of smelling salts, didn’t deter her; she saw the man beneath.
Author Caren Gallimore lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Caren is the author of Wild West fiction books "Wanted" and "Another Time".
Her love for the Wild West began during a Girl Scout camp at an old Pony Express station in Utah. Her characters tend to write their own stories, and Caren is grateful to be asked to record them. She would prefer to do this during the day with a cup of coffee in hand instead of in the middle of the night or while in the shower. But, her characters follow their own timetable. Caren doesn’t always agree with her character’s decisions, but it all works out in the end.
Her passions beyond her family, are writing fiction as well as non-fiction, screen printing, long walks in the woods with her pup and illustrating life as she sees it.
