The Floyd Country Store presents Songwriters Night with Jeff McClellan and Scott Patrick on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Join us for a special concert with Jeff McClellan and Scott Patrick.

Jeff McClellan is an award winning songwriter and acoustic performer who has lived his entire life in the Appalachian region of America. Jeff has been writing songs since he learned his first chords on guitar as a child. Until recently, he simply wrote his songs, played them for friends and family occasionally, and hid them away in drawers and boxes.

Jeff scored his first #1 song in the spring of 2018 when Terry Baucom’s Dukes of Drive took "Rainy Day Blues" to the top of the Bluegrass Today charts. The song stayed on the charts for an amazing 18 weeks.

Jeff has written or co-written songs recorded by Volume Five, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Terry Baucom’s Dukes of Drive, Milan Miller, Mike Bentley, Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome, Kristi Stanley, Wound Tight, Justin Crider, Amber Collins & Branch House Pavilion, Terry Mullins and others.

Scott Patrick has been playing guitar for 22 years and is an avid songwriter. He has song credits with several professional bluegrass acts including Mike Bentley of Grasstowne, Darin & Brooke Aldridge Band, and Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome. He currently performs with a trio called Branch House along with mandolin extraordinaire Abe Goorskey and Amber Collins (formerly of No Speed Limit).

Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 the day of the show.

In addition, Jeff and Scott will also be offering a Songwriters Workshop from 3:00-5:00 pm. Register for workshop and show for only $35.00.
