Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and Kent Jewelers present the 10th Annual Pretty in Pink Downtown Fundraiser on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at multiple businesses and restaurants throughout downtown Blacksburg, VA.

Buy and eat downtown all day to support the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF)! Participating Downtown Merchants will be donating a percentage of their proceeds for the day.

Participating businesses include:
• Bollo's Cafe & Bakery: 15% of sales
• Cabo Fish Taco: 10% of sales
• Fringe Benefit: 10% of sales
• Gillie's Restaurant: 15% of sales, Wear pink and spin the prize wheel
• Matrix Gallery: 20% of sales
• Southern Harts Boutique: 25% of sales, Will also raffle a basket
• Sugar Magnolia: 20% of sales
• Sundee Best Boutique: 20% of sales
• t.r. collection: 20% of sales

Look for the pink ribbon to identify participating merchants.

Win a diamond! With a $5.00 donation, you will receive a pink cupcake with a genuine gemstone inside. One of the gemstones is a diamond. The cupcakes will be available for purchase from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Kent Jewelers and Next Door Bakeshop.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary event, we’re excited to introduce some new fundraising activities including the first annual “Bra-Dazzle for a Cure” Design Competition hosted by Downtown Blacksburg Inc. with assistance from Virginia Tech Student Designers. Get crafty and Knit-a-Knocker for Pretty In Pink at New River Fiber Company. Get healthy at Blacksburg Fit Body Boot Camp with donations classes at 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm or join us at In Balance Yoga's Donations Class at 7:15 am.

Founded in 1991, the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF) is the only statewide non-profit 501c3 organization committed solely to the eradication of breast cancer through education of and advocacy for Virginians. Each year VBCF provides thousands of individuals at the community level with accurate, up-to-date information on breast cancer early detection, diagnosis, treatment, research, legislation, and survivorship.

Our goals are to establish the end of breast cancer as a state and national priority, to advocate for the collective needs of people affected by breast cancer, and to educate all Virginians on the facts about breast cancer.
