The Eggleston Volunteer Fire Department presents their Fall Mud Bog Fundraiser and Community Funday on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Event Schedule:
• 10:00 am: Gates open
• 10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Registration
• 1:30 pm: Drivers Meeting
• 2:00 pm: Competition begins
• Post Competition: Fireworks Show

Compete in or just watch and enjoy the Fall Mud Bog to support the Eggleston Volunteer Fire Department paired with the fire department's Community Funday. Starting at 10:00 am, enjoy vendors, kids games including an inflatable water slide, concessions and more! Throughout the day, there will also be live music from local bands. And, after the competition, enjoy the biggest fireworks show Eggleston has to offer!

The Mud Bog features multiple vehicle classes, ATV and side-by-side classes, a Muddy Egg Run which is a foot race through the mud pit and Fun Run!

• Truck 4/6
• Truck Street
• Truck Modified
• Open (any vehicle type including minivans / cars)
• ATV
• UTV
• Kids Combined ATV/UTV

Scoring will be based on time or distance. The fastest time to run the full track length will be winner. If no one is able to make a full length pass, then distance measurements will determine the winner.

For the Muddy Egg Run, all participants will line up at the start finish line and compete head to head. At the drop of the green flag, participants will race to the end of the track and pick up a raw egg, then carry the egg back to the start line without breaking the egg. The first person to return to the start line with a non-broken egg will be the winner.

To participate in the Fun Run there is no additional entry fee other than general admission and there will be no prize money or trophies awarded. The Fun Run is strictly for entertainment purposes and is designed to be a chance for anyone interested to get out and enjoy the mud pit. Each participant will be limited to one pass through the pit from the start line to the finish line

This is a family friendly event to raise funds for the operations of Eggleston Volunteer Fire Department and all proceeds will go to equipment, training and operational cost. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

This event is designed to be a safe, fun and legal opportunity to run your mud truck, vehicle, UTV or ATV.

General admission is $5.00 for ages 12 and up with free entry for those under the age of 12. Truck, ATV/UTV and Open Class competitors will have the admission fee waived.

Food and refreshments will be available or purchase on site.

Trophies will be awarded for the top finishers in each class.

Approved helmets will be required for ATV/UTV participants and any vehicle that has the doors removed.

The Eggleston First Station is located at 235 Firehouse Road in Eggleston, VA.
