Nick Caruso will speak at the Radford Public Library in coordination with the Irresponsible Science series about his new book that provides thoroughly researched answers regarding which animals fart, which do not, and why.
Nick Caruso is author of the New York Times Bestseller "Does It Fart? The Definitive Guide to Animal Flatulence" and is currently a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Fish and Wildlife Conservation at Virginia Tech.
The Definitive Field Guide to Animal Flatulence" tackles a subject that is often rife with hilarity and shrouded in mystery, farts of the animal kingdom. Find out about fartful and fartless animals, and why some farts are especially loud, smelly, numerous, utilitarian, or silent though usually not deadly except in the case of the beaded lacewing.
