The Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery "Volunteers" present a Patriotic Military Concert featuring the Blacksburg Community Band on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Randolph Park's Main Pavilion in Pulaski, VA.
The Blacksburg Community Band, under the direction of Jay A. Durner will perform a free Patriotic Military Concert. The concert is a collaboration with the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery "Volunteers" to honor our veterans and their families.
The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia. The band is under the direction of David McKee.
The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.
