The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents Earth Day Music in the Garden on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Come celebrate Earth Day in the Hahn Horticulture garden with a celebration of music inspired by nature and our surroundings!

The first half of the program will feature madrigals of the famed Renaissance composer Monteverdi, performed by members of the Virginia Tech String Ensemble and Voice Camerata. These pieces are all inspired by nature and love.

The second half will feature the Virginia Tech Percussion Ensemble performing works composed for instruments pulled from the natural environment.

The program will feature groups stationed throughout the gardens, for you to walk around and enjoy the sights and the sounds!

Admission is free and all are welcome.
