Dates & Hours:
• March 22, 2018 at 1:00-9:30 pm
• March 23, 2018 at 10:00 am - 9:30 pm
• March 24, 2018 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Actively engaged in their own exploration of Shakespeare’s garden, audience members follow a meandering path through the space creating an immersive theatrical experience. As they stroll, audience members hear Shakespearean sonnets, soliloquies, and scenes performed by Virginia Tech theatre students. The selections are curated and directed by Amanda Nelson, assistant professor of theatre and Natasha Staley, associate professor of voice and performance.

The performance includes sounds of the garden with original music composed by Charles Nichols, assistant professor of composition and creative technologies and a faculty affiliate at the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology. Visual elements augment the aural experience with projection design by Meaghan Dee, assistant professor and chair of Visual Communication Design in the School of Visual Arts.

Visitors are invited to come any time during open hours to enjoy this installation.

Admission is free and all are welcome
