Lyric Theatre Late Night presents a Screening of "The Room" on Friday, March 23, 2018 and Saturday, March 24, 2018 starting at midnight both nights.

Experience the new cult film made famous by the film "The Disaster Artist", "The Room". Tommy Wiseau stars as Johnny in this famously bad movie and also serves as the writer, director, and producer. Bad acting and accents, plot points raised and forgotten, stock footage that looks better than the frequently out of focus scenes, and quotable lines galore make for a memorable evening.

We'll pass out programs for audience participation suggestions and pass out spoons to toss during key scenes.

Film Synopsis:
Johnny is a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiance, Lisa. One day, inexplicably, she gets bored with him and decides to seduce his best friend, Mark. From there, nothing will be the same again.

"The Room" is a 2003 drama starring Tommy Wiseau, Greg Sestero and Juliette Danielle and is rated R.
