The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech continues their Learn at Lunch series with the talk Nighttime Pollinators on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
Join us for "Doing it in the Dark: the World of Nighttime Pollinators" with Tim McCoy from the Virginia Tech Entomology Department.
Some insects have evolved to take advantage of the overnight hours for their pollinating activity. What drove those adaptations? What can we do to help these nocturnal visitors?
Admission is free and all are welcome.
All talks meet at the Peggy Lee Hahn Garden Pavilion.
The talk is rain or shine. The talk will move indoors if heavy rain or storms.
Parking pass required for our visitor lot. A pass can be picked up at the Pavilion the day of the talk at no cost.
