The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech continues their Learn at Lunch series with "Botanizing the Swiss Alps" with Dr. Khidir W. Hilu, Professor Emeritus, Department of Biological Sciences on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Dr. Hilu will be giving a presentation on his study abroad travels with students to the many altitudes of the Swiss Alps. His presentation will integrate ecology, adaptations and human impact with the beauty of the plants, their flowers, and the surroundings.

The event is rain or shine. The talk will move indoors if heavy rain or storms.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Note: The December 6th and November 16th events have switched dates.
