Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and Kent Jewelers present the 9th Annual Pretty in Pink Downtown Fundraiser on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at multiple locations throughout downtown Blacksburg, VA.

Buy and eat downtown all day to support the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF)! Participating Downtown Merchants will be donating a percentage of their proceeds for the day.

Participating businesses include Fringe Benefit, Matrix Gallery, Sundee Best, Main Street Inn, t.r. collection, Gillie’s, Bollo’s, Cafe de Bangok and Mellow Mushroom. Look for the pink ribbon to identify participating merchants.

Pink Cupcakes with Gemstones will also be available for purchase with a chance to win a diamond sponsored by Next Door Bake Shop and Kent Jewelers.

Founded in 1991, the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF) is the only statewide non-profit 501c3 organization committed solely to the eradication of breast cancer through education of and advocacy for Virginians. Each year VBCF provides thousands of individuals at the community level with accurate, up-to-date information on breast cancer early detection, diagnosis, treatment, research, legislation, and survivorship.

Our goals are to establish the end of breast cancer as a state and national priority, to advocate for the collective needs of people affected by breast cancer, and to educate all Virginians on the facts about breast cancer.
