The Blacksburg Regional Art Association (BRAA) presents Dr. Donald Schrader from Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, VA speaking on Fresco Painting during the Renaissance on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Blacksburg Community Center.

Learn how the masters created the wondrous works of art, who fell from the scaffolds, who wheedled wine from their patrons by telling them they used it for the pink in the faces of women featured in the art work.

This event is free and open to the public.

The event is part of the BRAA annual meeting. Presentation is first on the agenda and those not wishing to stay afterward are free to leave at the conclusion of the presentation which should take about 30 minutes.
