Radford Public Library presents Meet the Author Nancy Wright Beasley on Thursday, September 7, 2017.
Come hear Nancy Wright Beasley, a scholar of the Holocaust, talk about her books and her experiences. She will also give a slide show presentation on places in Lithuania that she has visited recently.
Nancy Wright Beasley is a Virginia author who was born in Radford, VA and grew up in Christiansburg, VA who primarily writes about the Holocaust. Her most notable books are "Izzy’s Fire: Finding Humanity in the Holocaust" (2005) and "The Little Lion" (2016).
Nancy Wright Beasley’s journalistic career spans 35 years, including seven years as a state correspondent for The Richmond News Leader from 1979-86. The author has been a personal columnist and a contributing editor for Richmond Magazine since 1998. She has written national award-winning columns and articles for that magazine, as well as several other publications.
