The Montgomery Museum celebrates it's annual Heritage Day on Saturday, August 26, 2017 on the lawn at the museum.

Heritage Day is a celebration of Montgomery County, VA and its history. There will be food and live entertainment all day.

Activities include:
• Vintage Craft Demonstrations
• Historical Re-enactments
• Tuxedo Panda Robotics
• Adult Pie Cook-Off
• Children's Pie Cook-Off for 12 & Under
• Children's Activities & Crafts
• Antique Cars
• Fiber Arts
• Animals
• Dancers
• Artists

The Adult Pie Cook-Off will feature cash prizes. The Children's Pie Cook-Off will feature a trophy for the winner.

A Silent Auction will be available from August 22-26th The drawing will be held at 2:30 pm at Heritage Day. There will also be raffles for a Yeti Cooler, four Walmart Gift Cards and a 50/50 drawing.

Come and see the profusion of colorful flowers, new brick pathways, various textures, bees, butterflies and birds at the gardens at the museum. Garden tours will be available, the NRV Master Gardeners will have a plant clinic booth with free seeds and children will be making nature mandalas that they will leave in the garden. Nature mandalas are a creative circle of nature items. Come, play and learn with us in the garden!
