Description:
Sustainable Blacksburg and the Blacksburg Farmers Market present Sustainability at The Market as part of the 2017 Blacksburg Sustainability Week on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Market Square Park.
In addition to all the fine local foods you have come to enjoy on Wednesday Market Day, we will have special sustainability-themed activities for kids of all ages: the Bag Monster, two different participatory art experiences (What Color Is Water and Eco-Prayer Flag), The Enviroscape Model, and a general info booth staffed by Sustainable Blacksburg volunteers.
The Blacksburg Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from April through October from 12-6 pm.
The Blacksburg Farmers Market offers local foods, crafts, flowers, music, and more in the heart of downtown Blacksburg! Come support your local farmers and artists and enjoy the benefits of a strengthened community, healthy living, and support for responsible business practices.
