The Mountain Valley Charitable Foundation and Big Lick Entertainment present the August event for OldTown Third Thursdays featuring the band The Worx on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Old Town Fields in Shawsville, VA.

Join us for live music, food and fun for your entire family! The event will include local food trucks, craft beer and a space for the kids to run and play.

The WORX is an award winning Mid-Atlantic regional band entertaining audiences for over 30 years. The professional musicianship, variety, and versatility will impress the hardest critics and leave you wanting to see more. What makes the WORX is the unique ability to adapt to any engagement with the skills to make it a sure success.

Covering all genres of music from modern pop to hip hop, from country to the eighties, The Worx can play it all. This is why the WORX is one of the most sought after bands in the region and has been voted a best band in Roanoke, VA.

Tickets are $5.00 for adults and kids 12 and under are free.

OldTown Third Thursdays will be held every Thursday from May through October.
