The Radford Farmers Market presents their 2017 Opening Day on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Norwood Square in downtown Radford, VA.

Radford Farmers' Market is back for the 2017 season! With a large variety of vendors, including farm fresh produce, local goods and foods, coffee, spices, baked goods, breads, soaps, crafts and more!

Enjoy on site food from Blue Ridge Blends and live music from The Antecedents all in a fun and family friendly atmosphere.

The Antecedents are a heartfelt American roots, rock ‘n roll band from the mountains of Appalachia in Southwest Virginia. With three-part harmony leading the sound you will find yourselves emerged in the vibes of the singer-song writer.

The Antecedents began as a local duo and are now a six piece band dedicated to writing songs with substance, and depth. With influences ranging from all over the timeline of music this acoustic duo has found a unique but familiar approach to modern songwriting, while staying true to the format that captivates a listener's enjoyment. Performing folk, roots, pop, alternative and country.

Throughout 2017 they began opening for national acts, performing at renowned festivals and released their first full length record, “Long Way Home”. The band won the Flight to FloydFest Series in 2018 and earned FloydFest 2018's On the Rise featured act spot and after a fantastic performance have been invited back.
