The Roanoke Linux Users Group presents the Roanoke Raspberry Jam Spring 2017 on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at CoLab Roanoke.
All things Raspberry Pi! Bring your favorite projects to share, meet and greet with other DIY makers and builders. Several Raspberry Pi computers will be set up for new folks to try out.
Topics include:
* Raspberry Pi and Home Automation - Guest speaker Brett White will talk about the influence of the Raspberry Pi in the modern home.
* New Hats and pHats - a discussion of new add-on boards for the Raspberry Pi and Pi Zero
* More Minecraft - a continued look at Minecraft Pi Edition and using Python programming code
* Soldering Demo - adding GPIO pins to the Pi Zero
Admission is free and all are welcome. Attendees are asked to register for the event.
