Hacksburg presents Tool Tuesday featuring the Introduction to 3D printing on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Come on out to Hacksburg's monthly Tool Tuesday and learn what 3D printing is, what uses it has, and the basics of doing it from Andrew, a board member.
This event is open to everyone (students, residents, anyone!) and free.
This event will follow our normal weekly meeting, which starts at 7:30 pm, and will be followed by our weekly open work session - both of which are always open to anyone! A great time to get a tour or be able to sit down and work on a project.
Hacksburg is Blacksburg's first makerspace. Started in 2014, we're a community workshop focused on enabling members of the Blacksburg community to complete projects that would otherwise be out of reach. Whether you need equipment, mentorship, or just some help, Hacksburg is meant to be a useful resource for building anything from rockets to robots to rocking chairs.
Hacksburg is located at 2200 Kraft Drive in Suite 1475 in Blacksburg, VA within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. Go all the way to the right end of the parking lot near the bus stop and the pond, where the trash disposal is and to the bay door - we're the bay door.
