The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Society of Aboriculture presents their annual Tree Climbing Competition on Saturday, April 1, 2017 and Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the oak grove in front of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Schedule:
• Saturday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm: Qualifying Events
• Sunday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm: Finals
The event brings together arborists from Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. to compete in an assortment of skills events related to tree climbing. The male and female winners of the event will go on to represent MAC-ISA in the International Tree Climbing Competition held in summer 2017.
There will be educational activities about arboriculture in addition to observing the skills competition.
Admission is free and all are welcome to watch the competition.
