The Virginia Tech Department of English's Visiting Writers Series presents a Reading from Poet Carmen Giménez Smith on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.

Carmen Giménez Smith is the author of a memoir and four poetry collections – including Milk and Filth, finalist for the 2013 NBCC award in poetry. With John Chavez, she edited Angels of the Americlypse: New Latin@ Writing published by Counterpath Press. A CantoMundo Fellow, she teaches in the creative writing programs at New Mexico State University while serving as the published or Noemi Press.

This event is a part of Women's Month at Virginia Tech and sponsored by the Department of English Visiting Writers Series.
