BT's Restaurant presents the College Town Throwdown Party featuring The Voice's Gracia Harrison, DJ Josh Boggs and musician Eric Gress on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
America first fell in love with Gracia Harrison when she yodeled her way onto season three of NBC's the Voice, being the first and only contestant to yodel on the show; landing her a spot on Blake Shelton's team. However, Harrison has long since established an accomplished resume. Preceding her television debut appearance on the nationally-acclaimed show, she has already shared the stage with Luke Bryan and Daryle Singletary, as well as winning a MySpace Karaoke contest to meet Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon.
Following her stint on the Voice, she has gone on to share the stage with artists such as Frankie Ballard, Trace Adkins, Lee Brice, the Swon Brothers, Dustin Lynch, the Eli Young Band, and Tyler Farr. With plans of transcending the country genre with her own pop-rock twist, she's one to watch.
Eric Gress is a singer song writer from a small town called Pulaski, VA. Writing since he was 12 years old and playing any instrument he touched from the time he was two Eric has quite the catalog of music in his file. Rock music is what started his writing career at an early age and kept him traveling and playing. In Late 2013 he decided to step away from the rock world and try country for a change.
After writing a full album for the band Buck Nelson, Eric decided to separate himself from the band and take a walk down the solo artist road for a change. Since then he has been plugging away with writing, recording and playing as many shows as possible. With the new music he has written he hopes to catch the ears of friends, fans and anyone else who shares the love of music.
“To me, music is something that everyone in the world relates to. It can make you smile and it can make you cry but most of all its something 20,000 strangers can agree on at one time in a packed arena.. that is a beautiful thing.”
Following Gracia Harrison's and Eric Gress' performances Nashville DJ Josh Boggs will keep you dancing all night long.
