The Christiansburg Department of Parks & Recreation presents the 2016 Huckleberry Hustle 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run - "Getting Scary on the Huckleberry" on Saturday, October 29, 2016 starting at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

Schedule:
• 7:30 am - Race Day Registration begins
• 8:30 am - Race Day Registration ends
• 9:00 am - 5K begins

The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Christiansburg High School to put on this event.

Awards will be given out for "Most Creative Costume" for both adults and a 17 & Under participant. Medals will also be awarded to the top three males and females in various age groups.

The top male and female finishers overall will receive an award and prize money in the following amounts:
• 1st place: $100.00
• 2nd place: $50.00
• 3rd place: $25.00

All racers will receive free breakfast refreshments.

Race day registration for all events will close at 8:30 am. If you need to register on race day, arrive early!

A Post-Race Awards Ceremony will follow as soon as possible after the completion of the 5K.

For safety reasons, no animals are permitted on the course during the race. Additionally, strollers need to start at the back for both races.
