Description:
Jessie Peterman Library presents a program with Author Deany Brady followed by a Potluck Dinner on Sunday, October 23, 2016.

Join us to meet the author of "An Appalachian Childhood and Higher Than Yonder Mountain" and have a bite to eat. Ms. Deany Brady of San Jose, CA was raised in deep poverty in the Appalachian mountains. The later period of her life, however, included friendships with Ed Sullivan, Frank Sinatra, Milton Berle, the Kennedys and others in New York's high society.

Following the reading is a themed potluck dinner. Bring your favorite Appalachian or New York City recipes (or whatever you'd like to bring to share).
