Black Mountain Revival is based in Roanoke, VA performing rhythm driven, acoustic based, whiskey tinged alt country at it’s finest. This four piece with a combined ten years touring experience in various Metal, Hardcore and Punk groups delivers an incendiary sound for a new audience.

Their feet firmly immersed in the roots music sound with vintage instruments and heart pounding bass immediately pull the crowd in once the lights dim and the open chord strikes; Walking the fine line between Appalachian music and the sweaty dives of rock’s yesteryear melt together seamlessly. With the intricate guitar work of Mike Scutellaro and the longing vocal work of Chris Lemons and the pounding bottom end of Drew Taylor combined with the thundering backbeat of Joey Coleman this multi instrumental jamboree comes together and packs any Venue that it lay claim to for the evening.

With a set filled with story driven originals, gang vocal sing alongs and some of the most masterfully reworked covers around, this band stands to be a force to be reckoned with. This band is strongly recommended for fans of The Avett Brothers, Defiance Ohio, George Jones, Larry and His Flask, Andrew Jackson Jihad, The Dropkick Murphys, etc.
