The Pearisburg Farm to Fork program along with Tangent Outfitters and New Rivers Edge presents Float N' Fork down the scenic New River on Friday, July 15, 2016 parking and leaving from Whitt-Riverbend Park.

Imagine floating down the New River in a raft at sunset in a guided raft. Now imagine if that float ride stopped for appetizers cooked on the riverbank.

As the slow-moving raft ride resumes, the river’s calm waters now lend themselves to a relaxing cruise, where you will be floating
through some of the most spectacular scenery in the area. And if the float isn’t exciting enough, there’s dinner and wine waiting for you as you depart the raft on the banks of the river park.

Appetizer Menu at New Rivers Edge:
• Coconut Lime Shrimp Skewers
• Grilled Caribbean Jerk Marinated Tofu and Strawberry Skewers
• Choice of Strawberry Watermelon Tea or Fresh Lemon, Ginger, Rosemary Water

Dinner & Drink Menu:
• Pineapple BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
• Hawaiian Style Macaroni Salad
• Red Cabbage & Apple Coleslaw
• Watermelon, Feta, Fresh Berries & Onion Salad
• Mousse Cake
• Red or White Wine, Lemonade or Berry Green Tea

This evening is one of the most unusually picturesque and unique dining experiences in the region.

The cost is $90 per person and includes float ride, dinner and wine. Space is limited so reservations are required.
