Jonathan Barker was born and raised in Staunton, VA. He attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, where he became a regular face on the music scene and on the college circuit. He eventually moved to Roanoke, VA where he currently lives and began branching out into more music styles, playing with a greater variety of musicians, and recording more of his own music.
