Let's Code Blacksburg! presents a new kids workshop titled "Arduino I/O Programming with LCD-Button Shield" with instructors Eddie Sheffield and Kevin Richey as part of their Kids Series at Rackspace on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.

Learn to use the Arduino LCD/Button Shield. Respond to input from physical buttons and display information on the LCD screen. We also cover a few basic programming concepts: assignments, conditionals, loops, function calls, and data types.

The price is $6.27 per child and pizza is included.

The workshop is recommended for intermediate Arduino programmers in in middle school and up.

Bring your own computer (Mac, Linux, or Windows) with Arduino and USB drivers.
