Description:
The Oak Grove Pavilion concludes their 21st Annual Summer Music Series with original musical comedy theater titled "Back to BAD-TV" performed by the Zion Players for two straight weekends on Fridays and Saturdays, August 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th. All performances start at 7 pm.
All events are free. Donations are encouraged. All donations are collected throughout the summer and then distributed to six non-profit organizations that serve Floyd County (Women's Resource Center, NRV Cares, Reading is Fun in Floyd, NRCA Emergency Assistance Program, Community and Plenty!). The Oak Grove Pavilion is all about the Community! Fun for those young and old and funds for organizations that serve the community.
Since 1994 the Oak Grove Pavilion has been a summer entertainment venue which has hosted a wide variety of family friendly music and drama events. The "season" begins in early June and ends in late August and run most Saturday nights starting at 7 pm.
Bring your lawn chairs or use chairs under the pavilion or our many picnic tables. Shows go on rain or shine.
The Oak Grove Pavilion is located behind the historic Zion Lutheran Church in a stand of old oaks located at 635 Needmore Lane in Floyd, VA.
