The Summer Arts Festival presents the classic film "To Kill a Mockingbird" on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at The Lyric Theatre.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" was originally released in 1962 and stars Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, who defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his kids against prejudice. The film is not rated.

With the joint efforts of Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts and the Town of Blacksburg, the 2015 Summer Arts Festival's features live music, art exhibits, live theatre events, classic movies and summer festivals in downtown Blacksburg. This summer marks the 24th year of this cultural and entertaining festival for the Virginia Tech Campus and the New River Valley. Admission to all events is free.
