The Creative Writers' Guild at Radford University is proud to welcome Bruce George for a Poetry Slam Workshop on Saturday, April 25th in room 129 in Cook Hall.

Bruce George reached out to us earlier this school year offering an intensive Poetry Workshop to our students and anyone else interested in attending. And since the event is on a Saturday parking is free to all!

Creative Writing Workshop Exercises include: Free Write, Structure/Form, Free Verse, Haiku's, Newspaper Poems, Poetry and Teamwork, How to Read Poetry, Group Poems, Art Poems and Poetry Slam.

Bruce George is the co-founder of Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam on HBO, a show which has featured legendary spoken word poets in the past, including the one and only Nikki Giovanni.
