The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation present a New Town Festival on Saturday, April 25th at St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall.

Enjoy an afternoon of Poetry, Music and Tours.

Events include:

• Hear nationally acclaimed poet Nikki Giovanni read her poetry and discuss her work.

• Walk the virtual streets of New Town as you hear about the people who lived in this historic African American neighborhood.

• Talk with the creators and authors of the virtual and augmented reality recreation of New Town.

• Be one of the first to hear readings from the "Three Boys In New Town" children's book

• Listen to singer/songwriter/photographer and guitar artist Neal Wyms play and discuss his music.
