Sharkey's in Radford presents The Floorboards at Sharkey's On Top on Friday, April 17, 2015.

The Floorboards marry rock n' roll and country roots music with the sights and sounds of southern mountain towns. Jake and Rob shake the leaves from the trees. Bob wails like steam whistle cutting through the pines. Chris coaxes stringed cries from the hills and hollers. Matt tells the story.

The Floorboards have quickly become a staple in the Southeast and are branching out with purpose. Having co-billed with bands such as Trampled By Turtles, Yarn, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Laura Reed, and performed at venues and festivals in the southeast along side Drive by Truckers, Jackson Brown, Allison Krauss and Union Station, the band is picking up steam like the 611.

There is no cover and must be 21 and above.

Sharkey's On Top is the second floor of Sharkey's in Radford and hosts live music every Friday and Saturday evening.
