Description:
The Christiansburg Library presents What is Montessori? on Thursday, January 29th.

As a part of International Creativity Month, adults are invited to discover what it means to practice an authentic Montessori education from the certified staff of Montessori Infant Nido Environment (MINE) in Blacksburg.

Rachel Brunsma and Nicole McKitrick will discuss how a Montessori education “is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, cognitive.” A question and answer session will occur after the presentation to help participants understand this child-centered educational practice.
