The Hahn Horticulture Garden is partnering with the New River Valley Master Gardener Association to offer this landscape design lecture by Dan Benarcik, Horticulturist and Artist at Chanticleer.

Chanticleer has been called the most romantic, imaginative, and exciting public garden in America. Dan Benarcik, one of seven highly talented Horticulturists, has been instrumental in the garden's transformation during his more than 20 years there. He oversees The Courtyard Gardens which include the famous and stunning Tea Cup Garden, named for its central fountain. Here he works his magic with new seasonal displays featuring bold textured tropicals and tender perennials. His container plantings are innovative and placement within the garden structure perfection. Dan is a passionate gardener and artist who fuses his love of plants, sculpture, and design into excitement and wonder. His talk will give you, whether novice or experienced, tips to enliven your own garden and ideas to use when thinking about your beds, pots and plant combinations for 2015.
