From dance music to the powerful images of danger in Rio’s favela; from the sublime evocations of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Concerto Grosso Op.3. No.8”; from a Cuban Rumba to the wedding dance in Federico Moreno-Torroba’s “Estampas”, a broad range human experience will be on aural display as the full ensemble and RU’s Honor’s Guitar Quartet perform music from Cuba, Canada, Spain, Italy and Brazil.
