Since 1757, scientists have studied the useful effects of oil films on water. They are used in conservation, mosquito control, and data storage. Come learn about surface tension and the thermodynamic difference between spreading and non-spreading films on water surfaces. The program will include simple demonstrations and a fiery conclusion.
