Description:
The Radford University Planetarium open the Fall 2014 evening planetarium shows with Night of the Titanic.

The free planetarium shows will be shown each Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 7:30 pm.

Experience what it was like to stand on the deck of the doomed ocean liner Titanic the night she sank. This show explores the unique conditions in Earth and space that--coupled with human errors--contributed to the sinking of the ship on April 15, 1912. Learn about ocean currents, iceberg formation and drift, global warming.

The RU Planetarium is located on the ground floor of Curie Hall in Room 43.

NOTE: Due to the construction of the new science building, it’s best to enter through the campus-facing entrance to Reed Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.
