The First Annual Virginia Science Festival features interactive activities, exhibits and programs throughout a number of Virginia Tech venues including the Drillfield, Derring Hall, Moss Arts Center and the Inn at Virginia Tech on Saturday, October 4th.

We’re throwing a big party where the punch is spiked with science! The Virginia Science Festival features hands-on experiences, live performances, interactive demos and family-oriented science entertainment designed to inspire a wonder in science for all ages. Admission is free.

• Demonstration of Chemical and Physical Phenomena from VT Chemistry Club

• Living Science from The Fralin Life Science Institute (Biotech-in-a-Box kits)

• Human Health with Translational Obesity Research Center

• Frozen Fractals All Around from VT Mathematics Department
