The Meadowbrook Public Library presents the program "Western Highways: Randolph Walker and Marian McConnell" on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
Western Highways is a live music and multimedia show evoking the open spaces, imagery and mythology of the American West. Walker and McConnell sing, play guitar and harmonica. Songs and instrumentals, some written by the duo, and some classics (like Rawhide, Bonanza and Route 66) will be accompanied by slide shows of Monument Valley, Death Valley, the Painted Desert and other landmarks.
