Erynn Marshall lives in Galax, Virginia with Carl where old-time music has deep roots and continues to thrive. She has played for over thirty years, recorded several CDs, published a book on WV fiddle/song traditions, filmed a instructional DVD, and won numerous awards for her fiddling. She was the first woman and person from outside the US to win first in fiddle at the prestigious "Clifftop" (Appalachian Stringband Festival). Erynn released Tune Tramp in 2013 - a CD that features 45 traditional musicians from across North America. For five years she directed the concert series at the Blue Ridge Music Center in Galax, Virginia. Erynn is a sought after performer and teacher across North America and in Europe.

Carl Jones, originally from Macon, Georgia was once part of the Rising Fawn ensemble with Norman and Nancy Blake. He has performed with James Bryan, Bruce Green, Don Pedi, Beverly Smith and others. Carl currently performs with his wife and musical partner - fiddler, Erynn Marshall. With many recordings to his credit, Carl just released a new CD of his original songs called, Traveling Star. He is widely respected for his fine musicianship on many stringed instruments and his honest, original songs about the moment-to-moment, joys and tribulations, of day-to-day life in the South. Carl's songs have been recorded by the Nashville Bluegrass Band, Kate Campbell, Rickie Simpkins with Tony Rice and others.
