The Blacksburg Library presents the specail program "Local Spring Wildflowers" on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
One of the signs of spring is the emergence of wildflowers in woods and fields. Join Master Naturalist Bill Sydor for a photographic journey to meet some of the most common local wildflowers and learn some of the basic principles of wildflower identification.
Bill is a member of the Virginia Native Plants Society and a member of the Training Committee for the New River Valley Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalist ProgrAM He has had an interest in nature since childhood and has been photographing wildflowers for over forty years.
