The Outdoor Classroom wraps up the 2013 Summer Nature Series with a presentation entitled: "Wildwood's Wonderful Fungi" on Thursday, August 22nd led by Master Naturalist Rebecca Rader from the North American Mycological Association and the NRV Mushroom Club.
Learn about the hidden world of Mushrooms. When do we see them and where are they when we don’t? How do they “make a living’ and why it is so important to the ecosystem. We will look at some common mushrooms in photos and also see what’s growing in the park right now!
Park at the Main Entrance to Wildwood Park at Main/Grove or the Sundell/Park Road lot. It is a 5 minute walk to the classroom in the center of the park.
