The Outdoor Classroom continues the 2013 Summer Nature Series with a presentation entitled: "Sex in the City: Reproductive Behavior of Radford’s Bluebirds" on Thursday, August 8th led by Behavioral Ecologist Judy Guinan from the Radford University Department of Biology.
Who has not noticed all the trail-side bird boxes in Wildwood Park and the Riverway and wondered who they are for? These boxes are designed to entice our native Bluebirds to nest! Find out why these boxes are important and learn more about Bluebirds’ amazing behaviors.
Park at the Main Entrance to Wildwood Park at Main/Grove or the Sundell/Park Road lot. It is a 5 minute walk to the classroom in the center of the park.
