Description:
Claytor Lake State Park offers a special Father's Day Program on Sunday, June 16th.

Animal fathers play very important roles in their offspring's lives. Did you know that a female Red Fox must rely on the father to feed both her and their pups for weeks? Male birds are often much more colorful than the female of the same species. Do you know why this is?

Join us at our beach point duty table as we take a look at the differences in appearances and responsibilities of Dads and Moms in the animal world. Don't forget to bring your father along to say thanks for all of his hard work this Father's Day!

Meet at the Beach Complex, the gate attendant can provide directions when you arrive at the park.
