St. Albans Sanatorium returns with it's Scream-A-Torium 2012 just in time for the Halloween season. Beginning with the grand opening on Saturday, September 29th through Saturday, November 3rd, the Sanatorium will offer two separate attractions of fright every Friday and Saturday night.
Enter the haunted halls of the long abandoned hospital for the mentally ill! A perfect haunted experience for anyone brave enough to walk the catacombs within!
You can pick either the "Reign of Terrors" which is packed full of zombies, snakes, spiders and all the things that you fear the most or the "Carnival of Cadavers" which is filled with twisted and macabre circus attractions. If you fear clowns then you'll want to avoid this one!
Tickets for either attraction are $10. Tickets are sold at the door. Ticket booths open at 7:00 pm and close at 10:30 pm.
Groups generally go through six at a time and the tour typically lasts about 20-25 minutes.
If you feel the sanatorium is too scary, there are emergency exits you can use with the direction of a cast member – however, there will be no refund.
Note: This event is not recommended for children under 14 years of age and is certainly not appropriate for young children. It is designed to be graphic in presentation and content. While children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
