The Inaugural Dirty Dancing Festival

The Dirty Dancing Family Festival is an all-day affair with live bands, dance lessons, a Baby and Johnny look-a-like contest, talent show, car show, children activities, movie trivia games, food and craft vendors, movie location tours, the log dance competition and of course a viewing of the movie! Come dance in the streets of downtown Pearisburg with us on August 11th!
Have the time of your life celebrating 25 years since Dirty Dancing was filmed in Giles County.
There will be film three tour excursions to Mountain Lake available throughout the day starting at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm for $15. There will also be an indoor movie showing available for $3 with start times at 11 am, 1:30 pm and 4 pm.

10 am - Festival Begins
10 am - 9:30 pm - Children's Activities
11 am - 12 pm - Log Dance Contest ($3)
1-2 pm - Dance Lesson ($3)
1-3 pm - Antique Cruse-In
2-3 pm - Dance Competition ($3)
3-4 pm - Trivia Contest ($3)
4-6 pm - Talent Show
6-6:30 pm - Johnny & Baby Look-A-Like Contest ($3)
7-10 pm - Band & DJ
10 pm - 12 am - Dirty Dancing shown on the big screen outside the courthouse
Tickets are available for various age groups and for the various activities of the festival. Online ticket sales close at midnight on August 8th. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
