4th Annual New River Valley Chili Festival

The SideDoor, Main Street Radford and the Radford Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the Fourth Annual NRV Chili Festival, on May 19, 2012.

Join us, as we present a fun filled day in Radford with live music, not to mention a beverage garden, children's craft activities and plenty of food! Cadillac Ranch will be providing the live music.

Teams are forming now and are coming from a wide range of community organizations, local restaurants and die hard chili fanatics. Each team will cook up their best concoction of chili and then have it voted on by the judges. Prizes will be awarded to the top three best chili recipes, as well as the People’s Choice Award. First place will receive $300, second place $200, third place $100 and People’s Choice will receive $100.

The Central Lumber Parking Lot is next to Sal's in Radford.

Admission is $5 for those 11 years and up.

The deadline for entry is April 26th at 4 pm and the entry fee is $65. If you would like to register to compete in the Chili Festival, contact Joel Cadwell at 540-320-8393 or you can email nrvchilifestival@gmail.com.
